Hieu Pham
A seasoned executive who brings a wealth of expertise to the table. With a background encompassing business ownership, investment, and business development, Hieu has a proven track record of success. His unwavering commitment to growth and his ability to spot lucrative opportunities have consistently propelled him toward achieving ambitious goals.
Zac Black
Zac Black is the Chief Financial Officer for the YMCA of Greater Saint John where he oversees the financial, HR and IT affairs for the organization. Prior to joining the Y, Zac was the Manager of Business Operations at the Nutrien Civic Centre and a Senior Accountant with KPMG LLP.
Zac has a passion for community and sport. He currently serves as the Chair for the Rotary Club of Sussex Charitable Trust.
Ivan Okello
Originally from Uganda, Ivan Okello emigrated to Canada to pursue graduate studies in Halifax,
Nova Scotia.
Ivan brings extensive experience in curriculum development and training delivery on various
topics such as Cross-cultural competence, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, Gender inclusive
principles and Antiracism. He also served as co-chair of the President’s Taskforce on Diversity;
Inclusion at Mount Allison and was a former Board Member for CHMA, the Mount Allison
campus radio station.
Ivan currently serves as the Project Manager of Antiracism Initiatives where he delivers
programs that enable immigrants become effective board members and foster inclusive
leadership within organizations.
Kateryna Omelianchenko
Kateryna Omelianchenko resides in Moncton, has been there for 4,5 years, originally from Ukraine. She has a background in education, both her degrees are in teaching, English and International Education. Her passion is photography and this is probably her connection to the fashion world. She is a VP of the Ukrainian Association of Moncton and volunteering and helping immigrant communities means the world to her. She is currently taking a CAPM course to feel more comfortable in Project Management.
Wilinton Vega
Wilinton has been in Canada for almost 5 years, living and enjoying its fullest the Canadian Culture. Originally from Colombia, Wilinton is an Industrial Engineer that has a background in different areas like strategic sourcing, marketing, communications, event planning, and retail. From his current job, with the Federal Government, he continues supporting the community to move forward.
Wilinton likes to help the community grow in many ways, supporting newcomers through his volunteer work, in many non-profit organizations in Saint John, and involving locals through dance to learn more about his Latin culture. In 2021 he created Latin Rhythms Workshop “Let’s salsa your soul”, participating in many cultural events in different cities of New Brunswick, promoting happiness and well-being through dance.

Christine Eruokwu
Christine Eruokwu is a dynamic entrepreneur and passionate educationist with an impressive track record spanning over a decade in teaching and managing education-based social enterprises. Holding an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Technology Management from the prestigious University of New Brunswick, Saint John, Christine possesses a unique blend of business acumen and a deep commitment to
making a positive impact.
Currently serving as the Manager, Newcomer Programs at PRUDE Inc, Christine plays a pivotal role in supporting the settlement journey of newcomers to Canada.
In recognition of her remarkable contributions, Christine was honored as one of the Most Inspiring
Immigrants in Atlantic Canada. Furthermore, she received the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee medal in January 2023, celebrating her achievements and dedication to her community.
Rufina Ajalie
