​​​Do you want to help shape a more inclusive and equitable future in fashion, entrepreneurship, and workforce development?
United Colours of Fashion (UCOF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering newcomers and BIPOC/visible minority communities through vocational training, employment opportunities, and creative expression. Our programs include the UCOF Sewing Hub Project, Empowered Strides, School Outreach Program and the annual UCOF Fall Fashion Festival, a platform for designers, artists, models, and creatives to showcase talent and build careers. As UCOF expands its programs and community partnerships, we are strengthening our governance and seeking passionate, skilled leaders to join our Board.​
We are inviting applications from individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

We value a diversity of professional experience and lived experience, particularly from people with a passion for community empowerment.

Board members provide strategic guidance, governance oversight, and support fundraising and external partnerships. This is a volunteer role with an expected commitment of approximately 4–6 board meetings per year, plus engagement on one or more committees.
Board members help ensure the organization’s mission, values, and programs are aligned with community needs and long-term sustainability.​
